2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee: Power and Performance

The Jeep Grand Cherokee comes with three different gas-powered engine options. The first is the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine that combines raw strength with an impressive performance. It utilizes Electronic Stop/Start (ESS) technology to help improve fuel efficiency, by having the engine come to stop when not in motion, being stuck in traffic or stopped at a light, then switching back on when it's time to roll.

The second engine option is a larger 5.7V V8 engine, which offers a quick yet steady sense of acceleration, that offers a generous amount of torque, clocking in at 390 lb-ft. When properly equipped with this engine, the Grand Cherokee has the maximum towing capacity of 7,200 pounds. Which is great for drivers who need to haul or tow material around for work or recreation.

The third available engine is the 2.0L I4 DOHC DI Turbo PHEV Engine, which is found on 4xe trims. This hybrid powertrain can provide up to 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque for a maximum towing capacity of up to 6,000 pounds. This engine is designed to combine the best of both previous engines, getting a lot out of a little.

2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee:

Safety features that come available on the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee cover a range of activity from an assisted driving system to adaptive cruise control. The former is properly named the Active Driving Assist System. This system will help keep you on the right path throughout the use of radar and sensors, so that it can make subtle adjustments to your driving to ensure you remain in your lane and a set distance away from the vehicle directly in front of you.

The Adaptative Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop and Go is a standard feature that takes the guessing out of keeping a safe distance away while you're out taking the scenic view on the highway. This sophisticated system operates by automatically adjusting your driving speed to maintain a preset distance between you and the vehicle ahead. In emergencies, the system can bring the Grand Cherokee to a standstill, without your input, to help avoid a collision or other issue.

Jeep 2023 Grand Cherokee: Infotainment

Staying wired and well connected is no mean feat with the capabilities of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Available with a 10.1-inch touchscreen is the Uconnect® 5. It contains personalization features that include a total of five unique driver profiles, a customizable home screen and dual-phone connectivity.

Uconnect® 5 also introduces a whole new world to explore by granting you access to a combination of standard and available features. Coming standard is SiriusXM® Radio (6-month Platinum Plan trial), wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility.
